Guns and drugs seized in yearlong GTA bust

York Regional Police revealed the results of yearlong weapons investigation called "Project Tugboat" on Friday, showcasing guns, ammunition seized across the GTA.

Police say they have already seized guns, ammunition, controlled substances and money after executing a series of search warrants across the Greater Toronto Area.

The Canada Border Services Agency, provincial police, Toronto Police, and police in Durham and Hamilton were also involved.

The force's guns and gangs unit held a news conference in Aurora to unveil the haul investigators brought in.

Ontario Provincial Police, along with police forces in Durham, Toronto and Hamilton and the Canada Border Services Agency were all involved in the investigation.
