Child sexually assaulted near Danforth & Woodbine area

The 5-year old was shopping with her mother when she was approached by a suspect

Toronto Police are warning anyone in the Danforth Ave. and Woodbine Ave. area to be vigilant after an alarming incident involving a child.

On Saturday March 29, police say a 5 year old girl was out with her mother shopping around 11 a.m.

When the girl was out of her mother's sight, she was approached by a man and sexually assaulted.

Police don't have any description of the man but are hoping to locate him with your help. If you have any valuable information, you're asked to contact them at at 416-808-7474.
