Toronto Police also release the picture of a vehicle, and are looking to speak with the person who was behind the wheel..

Toronto Police say they are looking for 3 suspects in a brazen public shooting a year ago in the parking lot of Yorkdale mall.

23 year-old Michael Nguyen was shot to death in a targeted killing that police call an "ambush." An associate of Nguyen (both members of the street gang Asian Assasinz) was injured, but survived his injuries. The men were shopping at the mall when they were gunned down around 8 p.m. Police announced Monday that there were three shooters. The suspects are described as three men all believed to be in their 20s. One is mixed-race Asian, about 5'10, with a medium to heavy build and short hair. The second suspect is described as light skinned, possibly Persian or middle eastern descent and the final suspect is described as Asian with a medium to heavy build. All three were wearing black.

Cops say they are also looking for a silver 2007-2009 Chevrolet Malibu MAXX, that was seen in the area around the time of the shooting.

Police don't know the extent of the involvement of the driver of the vehicle, but think they could provide valuable information.
