Cottage country could get more snow Monday

Environment Canada has put out a special weather statement for Barrie, Collinwood, Orillia and Midland

More snow could be coming to parts of southern Ontario, but not the GTA.

Environment Canada has put out a special weather statement for Barrie, Collingwood, Midland and Orillia.

It says that a system moving in on Monday evening will bring rain to southern Ontario.

The rain could quickly change to heavy wet snow over the higher terrain of the Dundalk and Haliburton Highlands. In excess of 10 cm of heavy wet snow could fall by early Tuesday in those areas.

The GTA will get rain.
