WATCH: Klees accuses Health Ministry staff of lying

Ornge investigation heats up Question Period

An outraged Frank Klees accused Health Ministry staff of lying about Ornge at the legislature Wednesday.

The PC MPP claims ministry staff attempted to lie in a letter talking about which staff members had access to a report written by KPMG. He points to an email exchange from ministry staff that he obtained.

Klees says he believes this is just indicative of  a culture of lies in the ministry involving this investigation.

Health Minister Deb Matthews says staff didn't lie, underlining a mistake in a draft of a letter was corrected.

Klees says he doesn't buy it. He says the issue is that the assistant deputy minister was trying to get staff to lie.

It's a given that the Liberals lie. They can't open their mouths without lying. It's as reliable as the sunset.

@Frankie The other "given" is that Frank Klees is one of the Conservative "bright lights" in this province -
      - and he has his lunch packed in a road map so he can find his way back home.

Mathews lips were moving. She is a liberal. So the only conclusion to be reached is that SHE was lying as well.
