Dufferin St bridge re-opens to traffic

The City continues plans to replace the aging bridge, but have opened temporary structures for vehicles...

Some good news for drivers in Toronto.

The Dufferin Street bridge has re-opened to traffic.

The bridge is south of Springhurst Avenue and goes over the GO Transit/Metrolinx Rail Corridor, has been closed to traffic since last June.

The city of Toronto still plans on replacing the aging bridge, finishing the work in 2019.

But until that time comes, temporary bridges will be open to vehicular traffic.
