UPDATE: Mother of four killed in drive-by shooting

Two men charged with first degree murder will be in court on Monday

Two men in their early 20's will appear in a Toronto court on Monday facing murder charges in connection to the death 33-year-old Andrea White.

Toronto Police are unsure of the motive for a drive-by shooting that killed the mother of four.

White has hanging out in the garage of her home near Morningside Ave and Old Finch Ave Saturday night. A white SUV pulled up to the house and someone inside fire several shots from the passenger side before speeding off.

Family members brought White inside where she died.

OPP spotted the SUV on hwy 401 and tried to pull it over, but the driver wouldn't stop. Back on city streets, two people jumped out of the SUV on Bathurst St and made a run for it.  Officers handcuffed one man at the scene. Another man turned himself in to police a few hours later.

Toronto Police Detective Dave Dickenson believes White's address was targeted. But he couldn't say if White herself was or whether she might have been the victim of mistaken identity.

21-year-old Michael Davani and 23-year-old Alwayne Bigby are charged with first degree murder.  Police say Davani was known to them but haven't said why.

Bigby is from Toronto and had previously played in the NCAA as a guard at Northeastern University and completed his last season with the Rhode Island Rams in 2013.

Bigby graduated from Northeastern with a degree in criminal justice. At the University of Rhode Island, he began pursuing a master's degree in education.
