A man in his 40's is recovering after being stabbed multiple times Monday night.

Police say he and his brother were engaged in a confrontation at a residence on Lawrence Avenue East near Overture Road, when things escalated.

EMS were called after 10 p.m. and the man was sent to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Police were searching for the victim's brother, who is a suspect.
