Traffic on Highway 427 was snarled on Tuesday morning after a transport truck rolled over on the southbound Express lanes.

The crash caused delays all along the 427 and backed up traffic through to Highway 401.

The crash happened near the exit to Burnhamthorpe Road just before 6:00am, blocking all four lanes.

It forced authorites to direct traffic onto the Collectors.

Ontario Provincial Police say no one was hurt but it is not clear whether other vehicles were involved or what went wrong.

Road conditions were slippery early Tuesday morning thanks to a significant amount of overnight rainfall and temperatures dipped to below freezing.

Authorities expect it will take hours to clean up the crash.
