Over 500 volunteers are busy at work this weekend sorting and packing food donations.

The Daily Break Food Bank is putting its spring drive into high gear today.

They are hoping to collect $225,000 dollars and 225,000 pounds of food.

With just a week left, they have raised about 75 per cent of that so far.

Canadian Olympians Jason Burnett, Jonathan Lockwood and Rosie Cossar will be helping out this morning.
