WATCH: Hudak attacks government spending

The Progressive Conservative leader uses props to cut down Liberals

As the Liberal government make budget announcement after budget announcement, the Tories are scoffing at all of their spending plans.

Progressive Conservative Leader Tim Hudak says when the province needs to be focused on paying down the deficit, it shouldn't be adding $5.7 billion in spending by ways of 39 announcements.

He calls it borrowed money, alleging it will lead to higher taxes.

Hudak says overspending is what "lazy politicians" do to create jobs.

He stood in front of large red building blocks, showcasing government spending over the past few years. One column - tied to $128 billion in funds given out this year - was taller than he is.

@don was right If you are going to criticize education spending (although, admittedly, the term has to be used loosely here) please at least try to spell all 17 words correctly.

@tanjo thankyou for pointing out my weakness. Ouch. It hurst so much. But are today's kids upon whom the billions are being spent able to determine whether 17 is a prime number or not? Do you know that yourself? I guess they woudl have to ask the number how it feels. Will those same kids be able to spell 17 words in a row properly? Porbbably not. But dream on. Probbaly an ECE yourself. Sad.

He needs to remind people that McTwitty and the Liberals came into power saying that they had "no idea Ontaro's books were so bad" then they started taxing with the Health Tax and then they spent 200 times more than what they collected on the health tax levy.

The Liberals have increased Ontario's debt by 4 fold since taking office.

Hudak would complain about a bouquet of roses. As long as he is tearing down the party in power then he thinks he is on top of the world. It would not matter who is in power. I hate politicians who tear others down. He like Harper is a bully and are we not against bullying. State the facts and stop the personal attacks. If he would look at at the Conservatives and all their blunders then maybe he would shut his mouth. I don't really see any other party bullying but the CONSERVATIVES. GROW UP AND BE AN ADULT AND TACKLE THE ISSUES NOT THE PARTY.
