First time Liberals haven't led the polls since Fall 2013
10 0

For the first time since the fall, the federal Conservatives share popular support with the Liberals at 33 percent.

That according to an Ipsos Reid poll done for News Talk 1010 and CTV.

Last May, when Justin Trudeau was elected as leader, the Liberals popularity skyrocketed and by the fall the Liberals led in the polls.

But now, according to this latest poll, the Conservative Party has jumped 4 points, to poll at their highest level since late 2012.

The Liberals are down 4 points, while the NDP remain at 24%.

    It will be next to impossible for any government to fix this province. The damage by the corrupt incompetent liberals is overwhelming and our obligations to piggy hog unions will cripple the province for decades. Especially our obligations to the selfish, childish, bully, pig faced teachers in the province who deliver average quality education yet are the second highest paid teacher pigs on the planet.

    Poor Ontario. Pig faced unions have us all by the short hairs.

      @Another Mark I agree. First things that should be done:
      Cancel all day babysitting...er kindergarten
      Rip up the Green Energy Act and stop any further wind farms
      Get someone with some guts to negotiate public sector union contracts

      That would be a good start.
      Oh, some corrupt Liberals doing the perp walk would be a nice bonus.

    This is a federal poll. When people look at the fix in the so called "fair elections act" and realise that they are losing door to door mail service in the Cities; the Cons will pay. I predict one day Trudeau will be PM

      @Sonny You realize that people in the suburbs have gotten by for twenty years without door-to-door mail service? If my 70-year-old father can manage to walk a block for his mail, you can certainly manage.

      @Sonny No doubt about it.

      @Sonny Let's hope if/when Justin is elected he sprinkles enough magic dust in the air so that "budgets magically balance themselves" will become a reality. Based on his comments to date he's not ready for prime time.
