Shooting near Coxwell and Gerrard

Man in his 20s taken to hospital

A man believed to be in his 20s is in stable condition after a shooting in the city's east end.

It happened at a parking lot on Craven Rd, near Coxwell and Gerrard just before 2 p.m.

EMS say the man was shot in his upper right chest. He was taken to a local trauma centre.

Police say the man has undergone surgery and is now is stable condition.

They have not released any suspect information at this time.
