Driver lands SUV in Eglinton LRT construction pit

A woman in her 30's isn't hurt after driving through a fence and into an excavation pit early Wednesday

This is something you don't see everyday.

Around 1:30 Wednesday morning, a driver managed to drive right through a fence and into the LRT construction zone off of Eglinton Avenue, near Caledonia Road.

The car ended up in an excavation pit, filled with water.

Toronto police say the woman in her 30's suffered only minor injuries, and they don't know if any charges will be laid. They also don't believe alcohol was a factor.

No word on why she lost control of her SUV.
