WATCH: Tories continue to push on defamation lawsuit

Party wants premier to keep documents which may be needed in court

The Tories have sent another letter to the premier's lawyer, requesting that she keeps a list of documents related to her $2 million defamation suit against the party.

Progressive Conservative Energy Critic Lisa MacLeod points to correspondence related to the gas plant cancellations, as well as correspondence between the premier and her transition team regarding the transfer of power, the gas plant cancellations or the "wiping" of computers." MacLeod says they also want to see records of cancellation of tech Peter Faist's contract.

She stresses they will win the lawsuit based on the truth but these documents will prove they aren't lying.

MacLeod, PC leader Tim Hudak and the party are being sued by Kathleen Wynne, after they made allegations she oversaw the "wiping" of computer hard drives.

OPP documents show the police investigation is focused on the former chief-of staff to Premier Dalton McGuinty, who faces criminal charges. David Livingston's alleged to have brought in another staff member's tech-savvy boyfriend Faist to get rid of information from government computers.

These allegations have not been proven in court.

This whole thing has been massively overplayed by Hudak and the Conservatives ... to the point of utter boredom for the majority of voters.
He's about to be bitten in the backside.
