    Hello Evelyn Macko,

Thank you for "Animals In The Mirror": what a hoot.

Your article helps temper the other articles of bad news and negativeness.

Some psychotherapists would recommend not watching the six o'clock news because of the negativity and bad feelings it adds to a persons day.

News doesn't have to be negative all the time, I don't know why good news versus bad news is so unbalanced.
What makes bad news prominent? Does it mean the world is going bad more than going good. I wonder if there is really a lack of good news. It could be that news reporting in our land, in our time has trended to "negative is better".

As an experiment I recommend to people don't put any negative thoughts in your mind for a week, and see how it affects your life in a positive way. Watching the six o'clock news is a definite no-no.

    Thank you Newstalk 1010
