Nigerian police have put up a $300,000 reward to locate the 300 Nigerian teenaged girls abducted 3 weeks ago by the terrorist group Boko Haram.

On Tuesday, Nigeria finally agreed to allow outside help from the U.S. in finding the girls but Adotei Akwei of Amnesty International thinks the odds of finding these girls are slim.

The Amnesty spokesman says the President of Nigeria waited too long to even admit the abductions happened and too long to accept help from the United States.

It is almost enough to say that Pauline Marois was right. And keep in mind that Wynne and her twit mentor Dalton wanted to inflict Sharia law on Ontario. Not sure Sharia approves of lesbians though

@john What Russia is doing in the Ukraine is no better than if France had funded the FLQ. There is a presidential election in Ukraine in may to decide on who will be the next president and it is using international observers from the OSCE. Democracy is how politics in Ukraine should be decided, not through an invasion and military buildups.

@john john... I don't even know where to start. You're so misinformed on this issue, it isn't even funny.

Look at this link. And be quick, before Facebook removes it. It's not in English, but a picture speaks a thousand words.

You know nothing of what's going on over there.

Warning. Do NOT view this link if you are in any way squeamish or if there are children around. I'm serious.

@john sorry mate i wanna see tangible evidence not something somebody put on a web site . u cant always be leave everything u read on the net .

@john Believe what you want, john. It's not my job to change your mind. You want the proof bad enough, you can find it. It isn't hidden terribly well.

If you look at that link above, and click the translate link, it gives you the gist of what it's saying.. and if you read the comments below it, some of which have pics of their own, you will get a bit of an idea of what the Russians are putting the Ukrainians through, even though Russia's propaganda machine is in full operation. You are free to believe the Russian propaganda machine if that is your choice. I grew up during the Cold War. I choose to take everything the Russian government says with a very large grain of salt.

And I did not "lie this time", nor did I lie last time. If you want to sit there and call me a liar, I will sit here and call you ignorant and ill-informed.

@john Unfortunately, according to NATO- Putin said he did. But from the view on the ground, there has been no movement- not even a hint of withdrawal.

Putin has been very calculated and opportunistic in all of this. All in the effort to somehow restore the USSR. But all he's done so far is create chaos, confusion and destabilization in the region.

I think I know of the reports you speak JOHN as to why you believe Russia is right in all of this. My parents actually believe this is all a stunt propagated by the west. I actually THOSE reports are based on the fact that they hate the U.S. no matter what they do.
There are many instances JOHN where the U.S. have been wrong, guilty of causing instability in regions themselves, and creating a mess for others (all for whatever reason). But in the instance of Ukraine, Russia is the one wrong here. Ukraine, used to be a satellite state. It is not so anymore. It is time to let them go and stop clinging to past memories of the old days.

"The Amnesty spokesman says the President of Nigeria waited too long to even admit the abductions happened and too long to accept help from the United States."

This sort of thing is very typical of this sort of government in third world countries. This is the country of Nigerian princes who email you and want to give you their vast fortunes. As long as you pay the administration fee of a paltry few tens of thousands of dollars. And then wait.

Here's my view on this... The US has shown that they have no problem whatsoever in fabricating a human rights issue when they want to invade a country that's involved in oil supply. Now, will the US go into Nigeria for a REAL human rights violation, and do what it takes to clean out the vermin? Send in troops, and wipe out this perverted, disgusting organization that claims to be Muslim? Or will they get a free pass, due to the "religion" card?

@Angry Bill i would take long to . being forced into a option of having to call for help shows weak leadership . it is not defer ant then man not helping other man in a problum cause it makes men feel less of a man . . thay tought thay could take care of it and looks like thay cant . so they call for backup . thats been going on for years .

And apparently Islamists have no problem with this groups's depiction of the Muslim faith. Too bad, Speaking out would weaken the terrorists and give them no basis to claim justification, even to themselves. Yet I have yet to read a single line from a single leader.

I can't imagine any other members of other faiths being so quiet at such a crucial time. Am I wrong.
