Roger Raymond faces 21 charges in sexual assault case

Toronto Police think there could be more victims out there...

Toronto Police have charged a 66 year old Toronto man, in connection with alleged sexual assaults involving a child as young as 4.

Officers say the child is now 11, and the assaults started in 2008 and continued through last year.

Roger Raymond was a babysitter in the east end of the city, and police think, as a result, there could be more victims.

What happened in this case, is the child told the mother, who then called police.

Raymond was arrested last Thursday, but faces 9 counts of sexual assault, 6 counts of sexual interference and 6 counts of invitation to sexual touching.

He was scheduled to appear in court on Monday.

Anyone who may have used him as a babysitter, or had contact with Raymond is urged to contact police at 416-808-2922, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477), online at, text TOR and your message to CRIMES (274637), or Leave A Tip on Facebook.
