On the campaign trail: Wynne zeros in on Tories
NDP pushes car insurance reform
5 0

The Premier focused her attacks on the Tories on Tuesday, throwing some right-hooks in Tim Hudak's direction as she spoke to a business crowd in Toronto.

Kathleen Wynne says the Progressive Conservative leader wants to use a phrase Donald Trump coined to 100,000 public sector workers - "you're fired". Wynne says she can't get on board with Hudak's plans to get the deficit to zero a year early if it means handing out pink slips.

Hudak says he's focused on creating a million jobs. In Ottawa he pointed to Wynne, stressing attacking other parties is a sign of a weak leader.

In Scarborough, NDP leader Andrea Horwath maintained most people aren't seeing a reduction on their car insurance rates. Horwath says the Liberals want to keep insurance companies happy instead of motorists.

Wynne claims she can't get on board to eliminate the deficet a year early. You have to be kidding dear premier. There isn't a hope in hell that you would get rid of the deficet by 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020. That would take some tough decisions and gasp, gasp, maybe some cuts. You've proven again and again that you aren't up to the job. Step aside.

Tim - your rhetoric is only a week old and it's already VERY OLD.
    Andrea - ditto
Kathleen - your defence against Tea Party Tim is good - but it needs to be great.

@Brief and to the Point What defence does Kathleen have? I promise to spend billions more and get Ontario deeper into debt? Wow, that's great.
