Police looking for 'person of interest' in car fires

Toronto Police are set to release a video on Wednesday morning, showing a 'person of interest' in a series of car fires in the Bayview and Moore area.

10 cars were torched on Friday, many of them high end luxury models.

6 were written off.

Police have described the person of interest as a man who has a 'distinct' walk, and was dressed in dark clothing, wearing a baseball hat, and was carrying a nap sack.

He was also seen carrying something in his left hand, but Police couldn't identify what that was.

There weren't any injuries as a result of the fires, but one of the cars was in an attached garage, so the house was damaged as a result.

A convenience store was also broken into on that same night, and the suspect description is very similar to this man, but police aren't linking the two crimes.
