Two arrested in Scarborough shooting

Police called around 4:30 to the Malvern neighbourhood, finding a man in his 20's shot in the leg...

A man in his mid 20's is in hospital after being shot in the leg.

The first call came in around 4:30, after someone reported hearing shots in the McLevin and Sewells area in Scarborough.

Toronto EMS say the man taken to hospital, and is expected to live.

Police say they have two people in custody and have recovered two guns.

No word yet on the suspects names or possible charges.

Toronto Police also haven't been able to confirm whether or not this shooting was somehow linked to a home invasion that happened nearby in the Madeline Avenue and Denton area.

So far they're only able to tell us they are continuing to investigate.
