Woman struck by TTC subway train

Lucky to get away with her life after being pulled from the tracks at Eglinton West Station...

A woman in her 60's suffered serious injuries after being hit by a TTC subway at Eglinton West station.

Toronto Fire says the call came into them around 3:45 on Wednesday afternoon about a woman who's fallen onto the tracks.

Officials say the woman was breathing and conscious, and is going to be transported to hospital.

Initial reports had suggested the train had pinned the woman, but officials say that's not the case.

The TTC reported the trains were moving again after about an hour.
