Police investigating possible kidnapping

Man reported missing Friday night

Police say they are investigating the possibility that a missing man who was found in an apartment building near Downsview Park Saturday morning may have been held there against his will.

The 51-year-old man was reported missing by his wife on Friday and was then found in the building on Keele Street near Sheppard Avenue on Saturday morning.

The man was subsequently transported to hospital, though his injuries are not believed to be serious.

According to police, the circumstances where the man was found are “concerning.”
