Fire breaks out at St Michael's Hospital in Toronto

No reported injuries, after a hydro vault catches on fire late Tuesday afternoon...

Toronto Fire has put out what appeared to be a large fire at St Michael's hospital in downtown Toronto.

Smoke was first seen billowing from a window on the 12th floor just after 5 o'clock on Tuesday afternoon.

While no evacuations were ordered, the emergency room was closed to new patients for a time. By 8:30 p.m., the E.R was reopened for new patients.

Fire officials say the fire was in an electrical vault, and there's no word on what caused the fire.
