Police hunt for four suspects after four people were shot Friday evening

One man is fighting for his life at Sunnybrook hospital after a brazen, multi-staged gun-battle in Rexdale.  This happened around suppertime on Friday. Three other victims sustained minor gunshot injuries.  Police are hunting for four suspects.

Three of the victims were reportedly shot at 9 Olive Mount Drive, in the Kipling and Finch area.  A fourth person was shot at Etobicoke General hospital while transporting one of the original victims.

A heavy police presence with the K-9 unit is expected to remain at the Olive Mount address overnight.  Sunnydale hospital remained in lockdown mode for several hours Friday night.

In connection with the other two related crime scenes, police believe shots were also fired on Martin Grove near Rexdale Blvd.
