Power Restored in Toronto’s East End

Toronto Hydro says issues at Main Street transformer station.

About 16,000 customers were without power Thursday morning after a problem was detected at the Main Street transformer station which is shared by Hydro One and Toronto Hydro.

The area affected is bordered by St. Clair Avenue in the north, down to the Lakeshore, from the Don Valley Parkway in the west to Victoria Park Avenue in the east.

Power was restored to the area at around 9:40a.m.
