Halton Police Re-Arrest Sailing Coach on Sex Assault Charges

Sean Hewson on leave from job at Bronte Harbour Yacht Club

It was a few weeks ago that Halton Regional Police officers had arrested a local sailing coach after 6 victims came forward accusing him of sexual assault.

Friday, Halton investigators say they have re-arrested Sean Hewson after a 7th victim has come forward.

Charges of invitation to sexual touching have been laid against the man.

Hewson has been a sailing coach at several clubs around the Golden Horseshoe, and was most recently the senior coach at the Bronte Harbour Yacht Club.
