Update: Suspect identified in fatal Vaughan shooting

York Regional Police say they are searching for a 24-year-old Toronto man in connection with a deadly shooting in Vaughan Friday night.

Sarhad Sadiq, 36, of Nobleton was fatally shot at a café on Woodstream Boulevard near Highway 7 and Martin Grove Road at around 6:40 p.m.

Another man, who has not been identified, was also shot and suffered serious injuries as a result.

David Odesho is wanted for first-degree murder and attempted murder and is considered to be armed and dangerous.

Odesho is described as white, about five-foot-nine and 250 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes.

Police say they are also looking for a four-door white 2012 Mazda 3 that was spotted leaving the scene of the shooting by witnesses.
