Police lay charges in deadly Vaughan shooting
24-year old David Odesho of Toronto was wanted in the crime. He turned himself into police on Sunday.

Police identified the suspect they were searching for in connection to a deadly shooting that happened Friday night in Vaughan.

On Saturday, they said they were searching for 24-year old David Odesho of Toronto. Odesho turned himself into police on Sunday evening and was charged with first degree murder and attempted murder.

It was around 6:45 Friday evening when a man was gunned down at a cafe on Woodstream Boulevard, near Highway 7 and Martin Grove Road. Another man was also shot and rushed to hospital with serious injuries.

The man who died, was identified as 36-year old Sarhad Sadiq of Nobleton.

Odesho has a court appearance Monday morning.

Police aren't searching for any other suspects, but continue to look for a white 2011 Mazda 3, four-door vehicle. It was last seen leaving the scene of the shooting and has an Ontario license plate that reads, BRFS163.
