Two Hamilton men arrested in September murder in Toronto

Two people are facing second degree murder charges in the beating death of a 22 year old man in a Chinatown restaurant last September.

Toronto Police say there were three victims in all, who had spent some time at a nightclub, before heading over to a restaurant in the Spadina and Baldwn area.

It was out front that two groups of men, started fighting, with three people allegedly beaten with a baseball bat.

22 year old Danny La eventually succombed to his injuries in hospital.

Cops arrested 24-year-old John Pham from Hamilton and 24-year-old Somlack Litthimane, also from Hamilton, and have charged both with second degree murder, attempted murder and aggravated assault.

Police say the investigation into this attack is far from being closed and they are looking to speak with anyone who may have information.
