London Mayor found guilty of criminal charges

Offences date back to 2005

The mayor of London, Ont., has been found guilty on charges of fraud, forgery and breach of trust that date back to his time as a Liberal MP.

Joe Fontana admitted that as a member of Parliament he altered a contract that he submitted for expenses in 2005, but had argued the $1,700 the government paid out was not for his son's wedding.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.

Don't do the crime if you can't do the time. Keep your eye on the sparrow! You little entitled bastard, you committed a crime and tried to cover it up. You abused your position and our trust! Too bad we don't have public nut stomping as a fitting punishment!
