Police say man is not the baby's father.

Toronto Police have charged a man with murder in the death of a five-month old boy.

On June 7, police were called to a hospital where little Ye-Lin Huang was being treated for "significant injuries".  Police have not yet specified his injuries or given a cause of death.

28-year-old Huo Bin "Jack" Shen of Toronto faces a single count of second degree murder.

Police say Shen is not the baby's father but is known to police.

The 28-year-old made a brief court appearance on Friday, but will remain in custody until his next court date on June 27th.
