A man who went on a stabbing rampage, on April 9th, will continue to undergo a psychiatric assessment.

47 year old Chuang Li was reportedly being fired from his job inside a North York office tower, when he allegedly turned on his superiors and fellow employees.

He's been charged with three counts of attempted murder, four counts of aggravated assault and four counts of assault with a weapon.

A court granted a 30 day extension on the assessment the judge ordered back in May.

One person suffered life threatening injuries in the attack, with four people in total being taken to hospital.

Li will be back in court on July 21.
