Three prisoners who were recaptured in Quebec yesterday are in court today, facing two new charges.
The three men were arrested by police in Montreal early Sunday morning, after they escaped from prison in a helicopter in early June.
The suspects had been awaiting trial for murder and drug-related charges.
They now also face charges of prison breach and escaping from lawful custody.
There will be tighter detention conditions for the suspects.
The judge suspended two earlier court decisions that relaxed security conditions to help the accused prepare for their trials. The judge also suspended the suspects' abillity to sit in court without handcuffs.
