Arthur upgraded to a hurricane

Churning up east coast, Arthur should reach Atlantic Canada by weekend

The US National Hurricane Center has upgraded Arthur from a tropical storm to a hurricane.

Canadian forecasters say some parts of Atlantic Canada could feel Arthur's effects on the weekend.

The storm has maximum sustained winds of about 120 kilometres/hour. It's churning north at about 13 kilometres an hour.
