"Mummy Bandit" arrested

Police sources tell CTV they have him in custody

He'd been the man police had been searching for for months.

He allegedly wore masks, or make up while he robbed banks in the Trinity-Bellwoods Park area, inviting police to dub him the Mummy Bandit.

Thursday, police sources told CTV news that they have arrested the man they believe to be behind the mask.

Investigators had worried of late, saying his crimes were becoming more violent in nature, using a gun and knife during his last heist.

Still no word on the man's actual identity.
