Peel Region EMS says a man in his 70's was pulled from a pool at a residential home in Mississauga

An elderly man is dead after being pulled from a pool at in Mississauga home.

Peel Region EMS got a call for help around 2:15pm Wednesday, from a residence on Bob-O-Link Road, near Lakeshore and Southdown Roads.

The man, who police say is in his early 70's, was alone in the pool at the time.

A family member found him and called 911.

Officials with Peel Regional Police say the case is not suspicious, adding that a medical condition might have contributed to the death.
