Police investigate suspicious death in North York

A man was pronounced dead after being found with obvious signs of trauma near Victoria Park and Clydesdale Dr.

Toronto police are investigating after a man was found on the ground of a bus shelter at Victoria Park and Clydesdale Drive.

Toronto paramedics say the call came in around 2:35 Tuesday morning.

Initially, the call came in as a possible shooting, but the man may have been assaulted and was suffering from obvious sign of trauma.

He did not have any vital signs when paramedics arrived and was pronounced dead in hospital.

Toronto police have called in the homicide squad to investigate.
