@dama Not Chief Blair but Mayor Ford. When the mayor of Toronto refuses to talk to the police about his knowledge of gangs and his criminal affiliations, saying that "he won't rat out his friends" then the police and Toronto residents are doomed. Since Ford became mayor, shootings, stabbings, and beatings are now a daily occurrence, and it's getting worse. Criminals now know that they can get away with the worst crimes because the mayor is on their side.

Rob Ford is not setting a good example with his criminal behaviour and gang affiliations...there's talk that he had one of his gang friends killed because of the first video, another beaten...then he ordered the beating of his former brother-in-law. We should have elected a lawn order mayor, but it's too late now.

@HP You are talking rubbish, it is always easy to blame
Rob Ford even for this article that has nothing to
      do with him.

So u blame Sammy Yatim's death on him too
      since he is the mayor.

Give it a rest HP for now n vote for JT or OC
      on Oct 27

@dama Rob Ford never told the people why he was associating with criminal gang members did he?

A vote for Ford is a vote for criminal like behaviour.

@HP Your statement just gave me cancer, I'm not for ford but your reason in for the shooting is just retarded. This is worse than a YouTube comment.

@HP Its the cops job to deal with criminals, not the can't expect Ford to have enough info to rat out the whole fucking city.

How long have you lived in TO? Shooting, beatings and stabbings have been a daily occurance for years. In fact there was a time under the last mayor that it was significantly worse for awhile. Boxing Day, anyone?

Important points are brought up here.
Imagine living in a big city where the mayor refuses to sit down and talk to police about his activities? Yet he wants to be elected for another term?

What the heck is this place?
    A third world country?
