Serious collision forces partial closure of Highway 401
One man suffered life-threatening injuries in the collision that happened on the eastbound side at Keele Street.

One man is fighting for his life after a collision on Highway 401 in Toronto.

OPP say three cars were involved in the collision in the eastbound collector lanes of the 401 at Keele.

Paramedics tell us they were called to the scene around midnight and picked up two adult men. One of them suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to a trauma centre, while the other suffered minor injuries.

The circumstances surrounding the collision are not known.

OPP closed the area to traffic until about 5 a.m.
