A man in hospital with serious injuries after being shot in Etobicoke.

It happened at 92 Jamestown Crescent, near Kipling Avenue and Albion Road, just after midnight on Monday.

Toronto police said the victim is in his early 30s.

He was shot once in the lower back but his injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.

Police are looking for a suspect who may have fled the scene in a late model champagne-coloured Toyota sedan.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or crimestoppers.
