Witnesses reported a funnel cloud near Grand Bend while rain and high winds pelted the region Sunday evening.  Environment Canada had issued severe thunderstorm and tornado warnings ahead of the wild summer storm.

Another funnel cloud was spotted in Millbank, just north-west of Kitchener (see above photo).  Environment Canada will dispatch a team to investigate the possible tornadoes Monday.

No reports of any serious injuries stemming from Sunday's storm.
