Police arrest two, searching for third in shooting investigation

It was back on July 16th, that a man was shot near an apartment around Keele and Paxtonia...

Toronto Police have two people in custody, and are still searching for a third in an attempted murder investigation.

It was back on July 16th, when officers were called to a shooting in the Keele Street and Paxtonia Boulevard area.

Cops say a 22 year old man drove a 31 year old man to the rear of an apartment under the false pretense of committing a crime.

Once there, the 22 year old was approached by two other men, one armed with a gun.

Police say a struggle ensued, with the 31 year old man pepper-sprayed and the 22 year old shot.

22-year-old Dominique Wilks of Toronto, has been arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit murder, attempt murder, assault with a weapon, administer a noxious thing, two counts of fail to comply and fail to comply.

Also, 22-year-old Abel Abdo from Toronto was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit murder and attempted murder.

The initial 22-year-old man has been identified as Johnathan McLennan from Toronto, who is now wanted for attempted murder.

He is described as black, 5'6", 145 lbs., with short black hair, brown eyes, and walks with a distinctive limp.

Anyone with information is asked to call Toronto Police.
