Cyclist suffers critical injuries

The man was hit by a car Wednesday night, near Eglinton and Bayview Avenue.

A male cyclist has been rushed to hospital after being struck by a car near Eglinton Avenue and Bayview.

It was shortly after 11 p.m. on Wednesday, when it happened at Eglinton and Banff Road.

Toronto paramedics say the man suffered life-threatening head injuries, and was rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital.

No word on the man's age.
