Toronto Police have arrested five teenagers in connection with a massive fire in Leslieville Thursday that destroyed two homes and left a third home badly damaged.

The fire broke out shortly before 3:00a.m. on Thursday on Minto Street in a home that was under construction at the time.

Later in the day investigators arrested four boys and one girl thanks to tips from the public.  The teens are said to be between the ages of 14 and 16.

All five are facing charges of Arson-Endangering Life, Break and Enter, and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.

Police allege the teens entered the home where the fire began, stealing power tools and other items before setting the home on fire.
