Drinking-water scare in Ohio

Over 400,000 residents in and around Toledo told to avoid drinking tap water

The mayor of Toledo, Ohio says officials hope to know later today how long residents will have to avoid drinking the city's tap water.

But he's urging people not to panic.

Mayor Michael Collins says there are no reports of anyone becoming sick following the discovery of a toxin in the water that might have come from Lake Erie algae.
About 400-thousand people in the Toledo area and parts of southeastern Michigan have been warned not to drink the water for now.
