What was initially called an unexplained death has been re-labelled a homicide.

Peel police are investigating the murder of 53-year-old Tho Huynh after his body was found with "extensive injuries" near a Brampton plaza.

Police were called to the area of Hurontario Street and Conservation Road around 10 a.m. Friday and discovered the body behind a pizza place.

Police are searching for witnesses and hoping to hear from anyone familiar with the victim’s activity before he was killed.
