The Toronto-bound lanes of the Burlington Skyway opened Monday evening after temporary repairs were completed.

The Burlington Skyway was closed since last Thursday when when a dump truck, with its bucket raised, smashed into scaffolding on the bridge.

The Ministry of Transportation said crews will continue on making permanent repairs overnight for the next two months. During that time, the Toronto-bound lanes will be reduced.

The next step is for the OPP to complete their investigation of the incident.
