There were moments of pandemonium in Toronto's Liberty Village early Monday after a shooting.

Toronto police tell Newstalk 1010 that five people were injured. Three suffered bullet wounds, one was hit by a car and one suffered injries from a fight that started. It's estimated that 10-15 bullets were fired in or near the parking lot behind Lamport Stadium, near King St W and Dufferin St.

The commotion started after Cinema Nightclub let out, which is a five minute walk from the parking lot. The club was hosting a Caribana-themed party.

All five people were treated by local hostpitals. One remains in hospital care.

Kristy Stratton tells Newstalk 1010 she was reading in bed at around 3:30 am when she heard the gunshots.

"I went out the balcony, and I just saw cars fleeing and screeching, and people screaming," she said. Stratton describes a chaotic scene as people piled into the 100 or so cars in the lot and seemed to take off all at once after the shooting.

No arrests have been made.
