What's open, what's closed and what's been tweaked for Simcoe Day

Most stores still open but with adjusted hours

August 4th is a Civic Holiday in Ontario, called Simcoe Day in Toronto for John Graves Simcoe,  Upper Canada’s first lieutenant governor.

Here is a rundown of what is open, what is closed and what has been tweaked for holiday Monday in the GTA.

OPEN
-Canada's Wonderland, Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto Zoo and other attractions


ADJUSTED HOURS
-Eaton Centre, Sherway Gardens, Yorkdale Shopping Centre
-Many LCBO and Beer Stores
-Most grocery stores
-TTC running on a holiday schedule
-GO Transit running on a Saturday schedule

NO-GO
-Canada Post mail delivery
-Banks
-Government offices
-Libraries
